AMQ Festival aims to provide quality educational opportunities and inspiration to all quilters and piecers that use machines in Australia and around the world. We work hard to provide a balanced schedule covering all levels of experience and genres of machine quilting.

The structure of our schedule is based on 2 hour sessions that can be run individually or concurrently. That means if you submit a 4 or 6 hour class then it may have the choice of taking a  break every 2 hours if scheduling allows or it may be a solid 4 or 6 hr block.

2018 will see 4 days of classes to allow participants to choose from a premier selection of classes- effectively allowing them to experience a great variety of learning with time to shop and socialise.

The types of classes may include, but not be limited to the following:

Lecture

Lecture/Demo -(with a Longarm to demonstrate on)

Hands on -Sit down (Domestic)

Drawing/design

Painting/embellishing

Finishing/binding/edges

Piecing and applique' techniques

Class submissions are now closed.

Student registrations will open in late March. The schedule and pricing will be online by the end of February for everyone to plan. Students will only pay for the classes chosen over the 4 days. Plus a once only registration fee which will be great value and include 4 days entry to the vendor mall, plus a gorgeous bag full of goodies.
