Expected attendance & Show Promotion:
AMQF is a consumer show. Attendance for our 2012 festival exceeded our expectations with 450 students purchasing 1800 classes and 2500 general public through the door. We anticipate our 2014 event to grow substantially by increasing the vendor mall capacity & providing exquisite quilt displays & generous areas for shopping & eating all together.
The word is definitely spreading that AMQ Festival is going to yet again be a fantastic event for vendors and attendees alike!
Just some of the pre-festival promotions will include:
- Articles & advertisements in both Homespun & Quilter’s Companion magazines
- Full page advertisements and editorial in Australian Patchwork & Quilting Magazine
- Flyers inserted into SA Quilter’s Guild Patches magazine
- Advertising in all state guild magazines
- Class Catalogues to be printed & distributed via shops & guilds by April 30th 2014
- Show Program available to all attendees
- SA radio advertising campaigns
- Numerous quilting email lists
- Our own website and blog and newsletter service
- Plus more as festival draws nearer!
Demonstration session spotlight:
Opportunities to Advertise with AMQ FestivalPlace an ad in the Class catalogue and/or the Show Program. There will be 800 Class catalogues printed/ plus more downloaded & distributed 5 months before the festival. The festival Show Program will be available to all attendees on-site at AMQ Festival 2014. The Show Program features the Main Stage schedule, the floor plan of the Vendor Mall, a list of vending companies, the class schedule, sponsors and the Quilt Show entries & descriptions and more…
These are a wonderful opportunity to promote your company or product to potentially thousands of quilters!
There is also a FREE opportunity for you to supply flyers/discount vouchers to be inserted into our Registration Goodie bags for students. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to get people to your booth and spend their money. Flyers for goodie bags must be received by 1st September 2014 to ensure they can be included in the bags. Contact us for more details on number required closer to the time.
Hospitality Volunteers Available:
Vendor packets and badges will be available at the Main Registration desk located in Foyer H of the Adelaide Convention Centre during all move-in hours. Each vendor will receive 4 name badges per booth.
Photography at the Show:
There is NO photography allowed of vendor booths, products or displays within the booths without express permission from the vendor. Festival management will inform attendees of the same through e-mail notifications and on-site signage.
Loading/unloading & Parking:
There are loading dock facilities for the delivery and collection of event related equipment at the Adelaide Convention Centre. The ACC Exhibition Handbook fully describes what is available to you & how to order services.
